Maria del Refugio Morales is in charge of the Corporate Governance Area in Ciudad Juarez Office, being in charge of the management of approximately 100 clients. She has more than 30 years of experience representing Mexican companies with Mexican and foreign investment. Her practice primarily consist of advising clients for the incorporation and establishment of companies in Mexico, corporate updates and restructures, mergers, spin-offs, acquisitions, transformation and liquidation of companies, corporate due diligence, acquisition and transfer of shares and equity parts, regulatory compliance, financing projects, registration and update of companies with the National Registry of Foreign Investments and draft and negotiate Civil and Commercial Agreements for private and public companies.
Ms. Morales began her professional career at the firm, acquiring extensive experience in several branches of law, especially in Corporate and Corporate Governance which allowed her to be part of one of the most important worldwide accounting firms before joining the firm again.

Provided legal advice to an important French company in the corporate restructure of one of its divisions and in its subsequent merger with a leading English company.
Participated providing legal advice for the acquisition of a pharmaceutical company, to a transnational company leading in pharmaceutical research and development.
For more than 30 years, she has participated and/or led corporate due diligences to companies established in Mexico for their sale or acquisitions, providing also guidance and legal advice for the development of important industrial, investment and financing projects in different regions of Mexico.
