Laura E. Fierros Aldama is a licensed attorney practicing law in Mexico since 2007. Her practice focuses in corporate transactions, immigration law and customs compliance and assists our clients in all types of planning and advisory in complex legal issues, including investment projects, establishment and operation of manufacturing companies (Maquiladoras), lobbying and proceedings before governmental authorities.

Ms. Fierros started her career as an intern at the firm Sanchez, Cervantes y Asociados S.C., where she acquired through experience in the areas of corporate law, civil and commercial litigation, among others. During her tenure at that firm, she gained in-depth experience in handling complex litigations and managing clients’ legal issues with absolute professionalism and diligence.

 She became a part of our firm in 2005 as a highly experienced intern. Her skills, knowledge and excellent attitude quickly entitled her to become an associate, contributing to many of our successes in the last decade and consolidating herself as an integral member of our practice. Currently, she leads the customs and immigration practices in our office located in the City of Tijuana.

  • Handled multiple pro bono cases during her tenure at our firm involving a wide range of legal issues, including immigration proceedings, cross-border probate processes, civil litigation and family law, working closely with Consulates and Embassies all around the world.
  • Advised numerous foreign investors such as U.S. publicly traded companies, closely held corporations, real estate developers and individuals with the establishment of their operations in Mexico, including work related to incorporation of business entities, procurement of necessary permits and licenses, land acquisition, leasing, employment compliance and general commercial transactions in Mexico.

  • Assisted and represented U.S. shareholders in Mexican companies during their U.S. based ESOP Transactions.
