Isela Carrillo Rivas began her legal practice more than 10 years ago at the Local Conciliation Board of the City of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She began her legal career in 2009 by joining the Labor Department of this Law Firm and has been licensed to practice in Mexico since 2011. Her practice focuses on advising and representing clients in a variety of labor and employment related matters.
Mrs. Carrillo has specialized in individual or collective labor disputes, agreements and litigation, representing clients before the Arbitration Conciliation Boards in Matamoros, Ciudad Victoria, Reynosa, Tamaulipas; in Mexico City and in Monterrey Nuevo León; providing clients with preventive advice and implementation of collective and individual employment agreements, notices and payments for the termination of labor relations and all documents related to the administration of labor relations.
Mrs. Carrillo has extensive experience in collective dispute negotiations, actively participated in advising our clients during the January 2019 strikes and work stoppages in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, as well as the health contingency of COVID-19.
