Adriana Hernandez is a Partner of Bryan, Gonzalez Vargas & Gonzalez Baz, S.C., in charge of the Ciudad Juarez Office. She has over 18 years of experience representing public and private companies with domestic and foreign investment, doing business in Mexico. Her practice is focused on advising and representing clients with maquiladora operations, real estate matters, business development, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, financing operations and environmental matters, among others, and has advised national, American, Asian and European clients in the establishment and development of its operations in Mexico.

For over 18 years, Ms. Hernandez has comprehensively advised and represented clients in a wide variety of legal matters, including the creation of partnerships and corporate restructures, the establishment and development of industrial and commercial operations, the structure and negotiation of all types of commercial contracts, the acquisition, transfer and leasing of commercial real estate and industrial buildings. She has extensive experience in transactional, regulatory and legal compliance issues applicable to the commercial and industrial sector.

Likewise, Ms. Hernandez has advised national and foreign financial institutions and investors in the structure and restructuring of a wide variety of financing schemes and the creation of guarantees and has represented clients of the maquiladora industry in the obtaining of environmental permits and licenses and regulatory compliance in environmental matters.

  • She has represented multinational companies in the establishment and development of commercial operations in Mexico, including IMMEX operations.

  • She has represented public and private companies dedicated to various industries, including manufacturing, real estate development, commerce, aviation and health, among others.

  • Successfully participated in the legal team advising of a leading company in the manufacture of airbags during the bankruptcy proceedings initiated by its parent company in the United States and Japan, as well as in the reorganization and sale of its assets with a global value of $ 1,500 million of dollars.

  • Represented an important global company in the electric power industry, in the acquisition of assets in Mexico with a value of $ 1.25 billion dollars.

  • Represented a major French company in the corporate restructuring of its industrial software division and subsequent merger with an important company of English origin, resulting in a corporate group whose global value amounts to $ 3.9 billion.

  • She was part of the legal team of a major transnational pharmaceutical research and development company, in the acquisition of a pharmaceutical company of US origin with a global value of 23 billion dollars with commercial reach in 100 countries.
